Our story

A small home full of long little shadows

We're a tiny, family-run program devoted to raising healthy, happy miniature dachshunds — and to matching them with families who'll love them for life.

Make it yours: replace the bracketed text below with your real story — your names, how long you've been raising dachshunds, and what makes your home special.

Hello from our family

We're [your name(s)], and Teeny Tiny Puppy Tails is our small home program in [your town], Kentucky. For [number] years we've shared our lives with miniature dachshunds, and along the way we fell head over heels for these brave, comical, devoted little dogs. Today we raise a small number of carefully planned litters each year — never more than we can love completely.

Why miniature dachshunds

Minis are big personalities in a small, portable package. Long-haired or smooth, they're loyal to the bone, endlessly curious, and happiest at your side — or burrowed under a blanket. We focus on sound temperament, good structure, and the gentle, family-friendly nature the breed is loved for.

How our puppies are raised

Our puppies are born and raised inside our home, not in a kennel. From their very first days they're handled gently and often, introduced to everyday household sounds, surfaces, and people of all ages. By the time a puppy is ready to leave, it has had a strong, loving start — well-socialized, confident, and used to being part of a family.

  • Born and raised underfoot, in the middle of family life
  • Early, daily handling and gentle socialization
  • Examined by our veterinarian, with age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
  • Started on potty habits and crate familiarity before go-home day

Our promise

We stand behind every puppy we raise. We offer a written health guarantee, we're here for questions for the life of your dog, and we will always take one of our dogs back if you can ever no longer keep them. A Teeny Tiny puppy never needs to wonder where home is.
