Our family

Teeny Tiny Puppy Tails is truly a family affair. Along with me, there's my husband Mark, my daughter Lyssa, and my oldest son Billy — and together we pour our hearts into every puppy we raise. We're a small, responsible hobby breeder, which means we keep our program intentionally tiny, so every dog and every puppy gets all the time, care, and love they deserve.

Why we started

I've had the pleasure of raising many animals over the years, but miniature dachshunds brought our family so much love and companionship that we wanted to share that joy with others. That's why we created Teeny Tiny Puppy Tails — to give other families the same wonderful experience we've had with these sweet, devoted little dogs.

What makes our program special

Every one of our dogs — from our newest puppies to our breeding pairs — is treated with love and care. Our puppies are raised right inside our home, and from day one they're very well socialized with children and other animals. When you choose a pup from us, you'll get an experience no other kennel offers: we'll send you photos, videos, and even FaceTime as often as you'd like, so you never miss a moment of your puppy growing up.

About our puppies

Our puppies are miniature in size, with the exact size varying a little depending on the parents. We raise all three dachshund coat types — smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired — in a lovely range of colors and patterns, from red and cream to dapple, black and tan, and piebald. And our breeding dogs live right here in our home, as cherished members of the family.
