Our health guarantee

We certify that your puppy is a purebred miniature dachshund of sound body and good health. Each puppy has been examined by a veterinarian and found to be healthy, has received the first in a series of 5-in-1 vaccines, and has been kept on a routine deworming schedule.

We encourage you to have your puppy examined by your own veterinarian within three days of bringing them home. If there are any issues, we ask that you notify us within 24 hours of that visit and provide a written report from your veterinarian.

If your puppy is found to have a congenital defect that results (or may result) in death, no quality of life, or the need for euthanasia within one year of the sale, you will receive a replacement puppy of equal or greater value from our next available litter.

What's the buyer's responsibility

The buyer assumes full responsibility for all costs and care during this time. Parasites — including any internal or external parasites and worms (round, hook, whip, tape, and others), as well as giardia and coccidiosis — are not included in the health agreement. It's the owner's responsibility to continue a good routine deworming and parasite-prevention program with their veterinarian.

A note on size

We can't guarantee a puppy's mature size. We're always glad to give an honest estimate, but size simply can't be promised.

Our loving-home promise

If you ever must rehome your puppy, we ask to be contacted first. Our puppies are never to be relinquished to any animal shelter facility — a Teeny Tiny dog always has a home with us.

Important: Parvovirus (Parvo) awareness

Canine Parvovirus is a highly contagious and potentially fatal viral disease that mainly affects puppies and unvaccinated dogs. It attacks the intestinal tract and immune system and can survive in the environment for a long time. Symptoms can include severe lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting, severe (often bloody) diarrhea, dehydration, fever, abdominal pain, and rapid weight loss. Immediate veterinary attention is required if these symptoms occur.

To help protect your puppy, please continue all vaccinations as directed by your veterinarian, and avoid dog parks, pet stores, grooming facilities, and contact with unknown dogs until your puppy has completed its vaccination series. Keep a clean environment and seek veterinary care immediately if symptoms develop. We can't guarantee against exposure to or contraction of Parvovirus once your puppy leaves us, because exposure can happen in places outside our control.

Please do not allow your new puppy onto the grass until it is fully vaccinated and your veterinarian says it's safe.
